Precision Air submitted an HVAC proposal that includes a Trane 80,000 BTU single-stage furnace, a 3-ton single-stage condenser, evaporator coil, thermostat, ductwork, registers, ventilation work, permit and labor.
The proposal lists an original total of $18,515, a $2,037 Student Built Home discount, and a discounted total of $16,478. The proposal is dated June 11, 2026 and states that it was valid for 30 days from that date.
Insulation
Cody's Insulation submitted an estimate covering insulation and air-sealing work for the Student Built Home. The scope includes exterior and garage wall insulation, basement-wall insulation, attic insulation and sealing of penetrations, windows and doors.
The estimate lists $9,344 in total cost, less a $400 Student Built Program discount, for a proposed total of $8,944. It is dated June 12, 2026 and states that the estimate is good for 90 days, after which it may be subject to a price increase.
Together, the four packet-listed Student Built Home bids total $43,324.40.
